I am looking for a handful of women to lose weight with me!
Yoga Seedlings is teaming up with Nutritionist and Weight Management Counselor Wendy Arena and Yoga Instructor Jennifer Davidson to create a Leominster-based weight loss group...right now we are still formulating our "syllabus" but it will include weekly nutritional counseling, weight training/yoga sessions, positive visualization/meditation, online/email support throughout the week, opportunities for local workout buddies and a whole lot of camaraderie. It is my vision to have a close-knit group of women who are dedicated to helping each other succeed in bettering their health and shedding some pounds.
More information will be included in the next Yoga Seedlings e-newlsletter if space is still available, but I did want to put it out there sooner than later if you know anyone looking to shed some weight (the session will last 8 weeks and therefore is perfect for anyone serious about losing 10-20 lbs, like myself!). If it is successful, we will be thrilled to continue offering the group.
Stay tuned because I am still trying to figure out what I need to charge in order to pay Wendy and Jennifer for their services -- I personally won't seek to profit but will be actively involved in the group -- but it will definitely be cheaper than Weight Watchers, a co-pay to the nutrionist, a gym membership and a weekly yoga class!
Can you guys spread the word for me, if you know anyone who is looking for a group like this? Surely there must be a handful of us out there in Central MA :-) I will be putting flyers up soon -- I welcome any and all suggestions for where to place them.
Best,
mandy
